According to the show's website, prize money starts at 500,000 Euros?!?!?! How fast can I learn some German?

Ha! I beg to qualify that- if you could only add the lighting effects re: chandeliers/candelabras your coverage would have them outclassed. Gee though, even for rookies they seem to make it look a lot harder than it has to be. Nice crokinole sportsmanlike touch that Raab concedes the 'flub' shot in the first game. Notice too that they enforce the variant rule that you have to make first contact with the opponents disc - no combos (glad we don't have that rule, what a pain to respot the disc). Also note that Hans Rheinhold is our very own German boardmaker from the 'Crokinole' movie and generous patron of the Karin Jeske Prize at Tavistock, who when asked if Crokinole was gaining popularity in Germany was brutally honest and said "No, it isn't". Well, maybe now with this coverage, it'll finally start to take off. Hmmm, if we could just slot a few episodes of a show like "So you think you can play Crokinole?" maybe we could all turn pro or get a cushy job training a Chinese team for the Olympics or something. That would be my dream. What was it Kennedy said? "Ich bin ein Mittellocher!" ;^)

Crokinole has found its way onto a TV Game Show! It also puts to shame any recorded coverage I've ever done of crokinole
