Looks like I found a partner for tavistock. I just found out last night. Thank you for anyone who considered me for a partner.

Thanks for posting this Nathan. Having tied Ray Beierling for 4th spot but having lost to him head to head and in 20's), it occurred to me that the low number of twenties I got was not reflected in my point ranking: tied 4th in points but 14th in twenties. On the flip side see Lawson Lea who came second in twenties with 56 to Ray Kappes' leading 57 but did not enjoy nearly the same success in over all points ranking.

More 20's means more Points?  Usually but not always.

What then can statistics tell us?  Well you can score a lot of twenties and get a high score re Ray Kappes first in points and in twenties. Or you can have a lot twenties but not get rewarded with a lot of points re: Lawson Lea. Or you can do poorly in your twenties count and still get high up in the points race re: Eric Miltenburg.

...and if you want something really bizarre, let it be known that Lawson Lea and I went into the top sixteen tied for 13th positon in both score and twenties coming out of the preliminary round. We had never played head to head and opted to decide the issue with a coin toss rather than a twenties shootout. I won the toss, a bit of luck for me - you can imagine what would have happened in a shootout and how demoralizing that would have been!

You're welcome. How did you finish? I can't find anything with the final 16.
