I believe there have been a few top 4 finishes in the youth divisions from outside of Southwestern Ontario.  Cecchi MacNaughton (Massachusetts)(5 times), Jay Patel(New Jersey) and Hersh Patel (New Jersey)

Also Jarmo Purias (PEI) won the doubles championship and 20s champion in '04.

Glenn Runyon (Honey Brook, Pennsylvania) placed second in the recreational division in '05 and 4th in '06.

Also there have been a few top four finishes from North Bay, Sudbury and Ottawa.

But as for competitive singles i think last year some guy from Sudbury finished 5th and I am sure he will be aiming for top 4 this year.

I think the most impressive stat is #7.  7 consecutive top 4 appearances by Brian Cook.  But if you dig a little deeper, you will find out it is actually 7 consecutive top 2 finishes.
