Greetings to all from the '20' hole of the Universe.
Now even though no one in Toronto has ever claimed this title, there are many of our compatriots who would insist that this is how Torontonians view themselves. And even though it's not true, we are just too polite to argue about it.
I will however issue this challenge concerning Worldwide Crokinole Supremacy: if you wish to challenge Hogtown for the title of 'Peg City' - Saturday May 23rd is your chance. The Toronto Crokinole Club will be here - WILL YOU!
If you haven't made it to one of the events of the World Crokinole League Tour, this is your last chance to enter and compete in the minimum 3 events and receive a bona fide ranking in our global community. There are but three events left. Below is the entry information and a map with detailed instructions on where to find us in Toronto. We are just across the street from the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) on Bloor St. The ROM is the unusual building pictured below, I've slightly enhanced the photo - don't know if we can swing the decorations but you get the idea.
I used this pic to help launch the Toronto Crokinole Club
If you've ever arrived in Tavistock and felt you hadn't prepared adequately here's the chance to fine tune your skills on the same boards you'll find at Tavistock with the same people you're planning to overwhelm when you get there. Inadequate? Phhhhhh-t! Who - me?!? I will be ready.
Last year I promised myself I'd do a few things differently and do better, now it's a year later and I can't even remember what those few things were. However I plan to refresh my memory in Toronto and surely I'll be able to keep those lessons at my fingertips for a scant two weeks, eh?
So come join us in Toronto, maybe win some cash and a reputation.

Bring it on down to the GTA on the 23rd! Give us your best shots! We deserve no less!
