Belleville Crokinole Challenge - September 20, 2014

Hello fellow crokinole players.  The folks in Belleville are looking forward to hosting their 4th annual crokinole tournament on Saturday September 20th.

We are excited to introduce a social evening that will be held Friday September 21st at the wonderful and historical Belleville Club.  We have learned through the many trips to Western Ontario that it is a real benefit to organize a stay at a hotel close to the venue.  Work is currently being performed to find a hotel that will provide competitive pricing along with the comforts of home.  That said, a social gathering the evening before is a fantastic opportunity to see familiar faces and maybe be enticed to a game of pool, ping-pong or even crokinole in an environment that did the same, only 100+ years ago.  Please let us know if you plan to come to the friendly city of Belleville the day before the tournament and we will direct you to a wonderful evening of fun and relaxation.

Pizza, salad, desert and cold/hot drinks will be available along with a well run tournament that will provide cash prizes for winners and the opportunity of great gifts for everyone with tickets.  All for $25.

Please check out the attached poster below for more information.  We look forward to seeing many of you in September.

I'm pumped!

Those of you that are planning to drive down on Friday Sept 19th I'll keep you posted about potential hotel discounts that we're trying to arrange.  As well, I'd be delighted to welcome you to the historic Belleville Club Friday evening for a fun social -  Established in 1914 it's rich in history and character (much like our beloved game) we can play some snooker, ping pong, shuffle board, and of course Crokinole!  We'll also be sampling some local Wine/Beer/Cider/Cheese from the famed Prince Edward County Region Cheddar and Ale Trail -

Lots to do, lots to see - hope you can make it.
