All is quiet on the Western Front,"but the natives are restless in the jungle"

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2011 WCC (the first major event on the 2011/2012 NCA tour). There were posssibly a few surprise upsets, along with the many predictible winners.

What now? are we in for a long drought from crokinole this summer? I would guess there will be the occasional mini match played at the cottage or at your home-before the NCA tour continues in the fall!

Maybe this could consist of a friendly wager,or simply recindle someones interest in the game."(A star is born)"

Whatever the case, feel free to share any antics or crokinole related items of interest through out the summer.

I'm in Toronto with my brother Eric all of July. We play every night!  Come on over! (with his permission of course ;) )

P.S. Did I mention that I beat him at Tavistock this year?  30th vs. 31st.

The beat goes on all summer,

3ed Wed.  of each month @ 7:30 PM in SCONE,  until Dec.

All are welcome.
