On Wed Oct 6, 2010 I was passing through Detroit Michigan on my way to Lexington KY. I missed a turn and ended up lost in Detroit. While trying to find my way back onto I 75 south I found myself following a tractor-trailer through some side streets. Suddenly I noticed on the back of the truck the "World Crokinole Logo" in colour about .4 meters square. It also said "Tavistock, 1st Saturday in May. I was quite surprised and have no idea why this truck had the logo on it. If you are the driver or have information about the truck, please respond.

I know that the WCC paid for ads placed on trucks -- i think it was 3 trailers they paid for and those ads could still exist today. Although we did find out that one of those trailers was in an accident and taken out of commision since the ads were placed. So it would be rare to see one of these ads today.

Erb is one of the major sponsors of the WCC. It would make sense that it would be one of their trucks.

I wonder if this conversation will open up another can of worms?

Was it a tractor-trailer from the 'Erb' fleet? I've seen a board that Willard made with their logo silk screened on it so there might be some crokinole enthusiasts in that company.
