There were eight family relations calls. One involved an 87-year-old mother who couldn't be roused one morning. EHS determined she had been assaulted the previous evening by a crokinole board. Apparently her son, who had been drinking, lost three straight games and then hit the mother on the head. He was arrested and police are investigating.
