Howdy everyone! I'm looking for some input from those of you out there who may be more experienced in life and/or have some old boards kicking around.  I'm looking at getting a custom board made - it…Continue

"Hi Dorothy  I'm making crokinole boards and I use brass screws with heavy surgical rubber.  The action is fantastic and fun, They look good but wood always looks great. This rubber is too fat to use with wood as the wood would have to…"

Dorothy, you make some points but pls know these guys are good guys. they except me even though I'm brown guy and a Quebecor < 2 strikes ha! > but they r always nice. I have friends here that laugh at how in South Ont. they think they are the best in world even though they only play for a G once a year. But I can say I've seen video and they may be actually as good as they say they are! They may actually be the best in canada/World. Some of the real old players are cocky about it just because they have been in clubs since the 50's but just ignore them and chat learn from the good guys.

Hello there,

Yeah it is really too bad how things can elevate to such an emotional level, and it is what I feel most disappointed in right now. I think it is amazing that crokinole is played outside of southwestern Ontario, and it is definitely something we should look into a lot more, as it is a huge opportunity for the game. As for the beer, too bad I'm more than a year away from being legal age, but I appreciate the offer very much.

Great to hear from you.

Thank you for offering your friendship. I really do respect your honesty and integrity and value your opinion. Thank you for your passion and standing up for all things Crokinole. You're both feisty and pretty and my sons thank you for both.
