"Hi, The loonie in the middle would be a great idea if it would help my play. So far my build is better than my playing ability. This board as well as another ( made for my sons ) ended up with a smaller ditch than normal about 1 1/2…"

Cy Anderson is now a member of National Crokinole Association (NCA)
Welcome Cy, I thought your name sounded vaguely familiar and now I remember seeing that you had posted a picture of a board you were making on the 'crokinole yahoo group' and that you would be in Ontario over Christmas. If you are still here and want to get in on some of the finest crokinole play around you might be interested in the 'Holiday free-for-all' being hosted by the St. Jacob's Club tomorrow night (Thursday, September 29th) at 7. You would meet a lot of NCA members there and talk to some people who know quite a bit about crokinole. Just in case your interested I include a map(s). Just in case they are hard to make out I can give you simple directions if you are coming from Burlington.
You can take Hwy #6 to the #401 and get off at the 278 exit to Kitchener Waterloo follow Hwy #8 which leads you on to hwy#85. Then I usually stick with that until you reach the roundabout and then you are more or less there. Just follow the signs and head into town and turn left at the Bank of Nova Scotia on the left and this leads you straight to the parking lot.
All are welcome
hope to see you there or sometime at a future crokinole get together,
