"Hi Adam, to clarify removing "any 20's made", the NCA rule # 3.b states that:

"Actually I have seen some players flick the disc with their thumb rather than the index finger. holding the thumb behind the index finger, then flick the thumb sideways. Throws the opponent off, because they are actually shooting at a disc other…"

My father has given me two pieces of life advice that I can remember. He likely only gave two because he knew that I wouldn’t be able to remember much more than one and a half of them. If you count his furrowed brow every time I do something he disapproves of, or his head tilted back to let out a sinister laugh every time I do something stupid, then he has given me four pieces of… Continue

Hi Clare, thanks for the invite, we are hosting a dinner tonite so will try to meet some of you folks another time . I am still working as a Real Estate Broker so time is sparse and my wife and I continue our work from Florida . I also need to develop a better game before I face the pros.
Hi Clare, once again congrats for your win in Peterborough, particularly after just making the top six cut and then coming out on top. Last time I've heard of that happening, correct me if I'm wrong, was Jason Beierling coming up from last-to-qualify 16th spot to win it all at Tavistock in 2006. And I like that T-shirt in your avatar picture. Particularly the nice big target presented on the back. What's it say on the front? "Yes I play crokinole. So? Beat me!" No? Well I suppose not, your a much more affable and sociable player, as I find most crokinole players tend to be. Still maybe I'll get that saying put on a T-shirt of my own just to get some edge into my play.
See you at the next one Clare.
