This is the board I made from a cross-cut piece from a maple tree. It's a solid one piece of wood. The score circles are inlaid brass rod, posts are brass bolts. It's built to tournament specs. One of a kind...never can be duplicated!

Have you written how this board came to be?  It's remarkable.  To obtain a tree round 30" around and dry it without cracking.  Did you do it all by routing out the ditch?  Is the "rail" above the playing surface?

I'm new to Crokinole, but loving all the fine crafted boards.  Your's must be truly unique.

Thanks Ray, The latest on this board is that the local players want it barred from use in the BC Championships! Evey body that has ever played on it love it. Brings out the best in the player!
They feel the players that would play on it have an unfair advantage. I undrestand what there saying. If we can have enough boards with out it that may be just as well.

This is the only thing of everything that my parents have that has such great value. What makes it so valuable is that Dad made it by himself and never gave up even thought when he started he had no idea how to go about it. He made something that is a work of art. Not only is it beautiful but it is useful too, as all of his family has made memories on this board. Proud of you and your board, Dad. :o)
