Note about pictures. If anyone is wondering if my eyesight is particularly acute in being able to recognize people so handily, it's not. If you want to see any picture in it's full majesty, do this. Right click on the picture to get a menu, choose 'view image' this will pop up the same size image by itself, but if you move the mouse over it, you should notice the arrow changes to a magnifying glass. Then if you left click the picture will blow up to its actual size and you can scroll back and forth and up and down and see the real flicker of a 'crokinole twinkle' in everyone of these faces.
By the way Howard, was this picture taken at the old Firehall?

What a great picture Howard. Okay let me see how many I can pick out in the 'time-line line-up'.
Back row left to right - second from the left, undeniably Dan Schantz and then you, Howard, obviously on the right side, and if I was to take a wild stab guess, I'm thinking that might be Bill Freeman third from the right in back there. Middle row, of course, Leo Gaessler on the left, proceeding fourth from the left is Bernie Kraemer, and is that Ray Kappes in the white shirt beside him?!? And in the front row in the psychedelic giraffe skin sweater is Marvin Reed and in the middle, Hugh Kidnie. How's that? Did I miss anyone I should know?
Oh and that might be your brother in front of you in the middle row but I won't say for sure since I haven't played him, being, as I am, of too tender a disposition to have tangled with the cutthroat 'sticks' crowd, though I'm getting tougher and meaner so it may happen yet.

Thanks Howard, we can definitely get started on a Crokinole Archives section with pictures like this. Other teams take note if you're looking for a model club photo.

Thanks Howard for posting those stats. Gee, that was fast, the discs have barely stopped spinning on the boards. For any of you who have their screen resolution optimized to get as much as possible on the screen without necessarily being able to read it, there are two ways to enlarge the stats below (if you don't already know how, you'll find this simple and handy) You can simply hold down the Ctrl key and tap the plus +sign, likewise hold down Ctrl and tap the 'minus/dash' key to reduce the size. Or if you prefer the mouse and use the Firefox browser you can right click on the scorepage, click'view image' and then the cursor will show a magnifying glass, left click and the scores will get bigger, or at least big enough so that even my brother will have to admit he can read my name down there.
Thanks to all at St Jacobs for allowing me to participate, hope to make it again next season. I'll get busy on editing some video and post it here when I get some time.
