Hello fellow crokinuts,
What a great day of crokinole yesterday was.

In the main event last night Brian Cook, Ray Beierling, Ab Leitch and Nathan Walsh made it to the final four. Brian let everyone know he is "still the king" around these parts. Nathan gave him a good game as they split the first two sets with Brian taking the first (needing an extra game) and Nathan taking the second (also needing an exra game) to force the 3rd set of the best of 3 match. Brian retained the crown by earning the 3rd set. Congrats Brian on claiming his 3rd in a row and tying Joe Fulop for the most WCC wins.
Last night the crokinole world was made aware of the newest young phenom, Nathan Walsh. He managed to make it out of the fvery talented final four to the final against Brian although his cinderella run ended there.
Ray and Ab are familiar foes and Ray narrowly edged out Ab to take 3rd overall.

In Rec Division John Madlensky, Marlin Lichti, Jason Carter and Jamie McDonald were the final four standing. This final also took 3 sets to figure out the champ and congrats to Jason for the win and James for 2nd place.
In the third place match Marlin lost the first set only the battle back and win the next two to claim the win. Props to John for finishing fourth.
